Today, by mobilizing volunteers and community partners like Creditaid, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.habitat.mb.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Habitat for Humanity Manitoba<\/a> works with people from all walks of life to build safe, decent, affordable housing for purchase by low-income working families.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.creditaid.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Habitat-Women-Build.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-838\" alt=\"Habitat Women Build\" src=\"http:\/\/creditaid-2017.home.justinwiebe.ca\/components\/com_wordpress\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Habitat-Women-Build-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.creditaid.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Habitat-Women-Build-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.creditaid.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Habitat-Women-Build.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>At Creditaid, we have the expertise to support this wonderful charity by providing <a href=\"\/budgeting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">budget strategies<\/a> to new Habitat homeowners that will help them <a href=\"\/let-us-help-you\/mortgage-loan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">prepare for home ownership<\/a>. Our services are provided to approximately 25 Habitat families per year throughout the province of Manitoba. The financial education they receive helps to instill a sense of accountability and pride in their new home ownership status.<\/p>\n<p>The meetings between Creditaid and the new home owners are private and confidential, and are also a mandatory requirement of all new Habitat families. The families use the advice and guidance provided by Creditaid in all aspects of their lives \u2013 not only those related to home ownership. The families are left with the skills necessary to <a href=\"\/budgeting\/building-a-tracking-spending-plan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">budget effectively<\/a> and <a href=\"\/let-us-help-you\/debt-management-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">manage their debt responsibly<\/a> for a lifetime.<\/p>\n<p>We are happy to be part of the Habitat for Humanity family and hope to continue helping Habitat families long into the future.\t\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Creditaid is proud to support various community endeavours and has been an important supplier to Habitat for Humanity Manitoba for many years.
