{"id":931,"date":"2016-06-20T08:45:03","date_gmt":"2016-06-20T13:45:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.creditaid.ca\/blog\/?p=931"},"modified":"2016-06-20T08:45:03","modified_gmt":"2016-06-20T13:45:03","slug":"creditaid-delivers-financial-literacy-advice-to-manitoba-educators","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.creditaid.ca\/blog\/2016\/06\/20\/creditaid-delivers-financial-literacy-advice-to-manitoba-educators\/","title":{"rendered":"Creditaid Delivers Financial Literacy Advice to Manitoba Educators"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.creditaid.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Balance-Wellness-program-logo.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-884\" alt=\"Balance Wellness program logo\" src=\"http:\/\/creditaid-2017.home.justinwiebe.ca\/components\/com_wordpress\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Balance-Wellness-program-logo-237x300.gif\" width=\"190\" height=\"240\" \/><\/a>As part of our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.creditaid.ca\/blog\/2015\/12\/creditaid-is-going-back-to-school\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ongoing partnership with the Manitoba Teachers\u2019 Society<\/a> (MTS) to deliver financial literacy advice through their Balance Program, we were very happy to extend our reach to Manitoba educators.<\/p>\n<p>In April, we were happy for the opportunity to speak to members of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rtam.mb.ca\/index.php\/commiittees\/wellness\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Retired Teachers\u2019 Association of Manitoba<\/a> (RTAM) as they joined the Society members for a collaborative workshop about Money Matters and Mindfulness.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.creditaid.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/RTAM-logo.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-932\" alt=\"RTAM logo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.creditaid.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/RTAM-logo.png\" width=\"467\" height=\"91\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.creditaid.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/RTAM-logo.png 467w, https:\/\/www.creditaid.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/RTAM-logo-300x58.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 467px) 100vw, 467px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The RTAM advocates for the needs of retired teachers to the Manitoba government, the MTS and the general public.
